JAX Design Group, Inc. is an independent foodservice consulting and design organization in based in Jacksonville, Florida.

 JAX Design Group, Inc. provides for our clients an independent foodservice consulting, design and specification service for all types of foodservice facilities. As Foodservice Consultants, we do not sell foodservice equipment.

 Our services include, but are not limited, to the following:  

• We discuss the menu, needs and desires of the facility as part of the planning process.
• Preliminary floorplans will be provided, revised, and reworked until we reach a final floorplan.
• The final floorplan is the result of a preliminary vision being revised and refined until it meets the exacting needs of the client.
• Existing foodservice equipment, when available, will be incorporated into our new design to help minimize cost.
• Typical foodservice documentation includes:
  • Floorplan with numbered equipment schedule.
  • Itemized equipment specifications.
  • Exhaust system(s) shop drawings.
  • Electrical and plumbing rough-in schedule.
  • Dimensioned electrical and plumbing rough-in drawings.
  • Equipment cut-sheet brochures are provided with the final floorplan.
  • Equipment budget and itemized bid specs for the equipment suppliers to bid.
  • Qualified bidders list, if requested.
  • Bid, submittal and shop drawing review.
  • Project punchlist inspection.
• We will provide field support, as required, during construction.
